Description
Celebrated violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter introduces a new concerto by her friend and frequent collaborator John Williams, with the legendary composer himself conducting the Boston Symphony. He says: I can only think of this piece as being about Anne-Sophie. I took my inspiration and energy directly from this great artist herself. The Boston Globe reviewer wrote: Even in this premiere performance, Mutter carried the solo like an old friend, shaping each phrase with intention and panache.
