Hailing from Philadelphia, Vektor describe themselves fittingly as ‘progressive space metal’. This, their 2009 debut album, ‘Black Future’ made the thrash metal fraternity sit up and take notice as they emerged as one of the most innovative bands of the genre, marrying a conceptual take on a bleak, alien future world with an aggressive, yet somehow thought provoking full frontal thrash assault.
