Straddling a line between arch pop and experimental rock, Original Soundtrack (which isnt a soundtrack at all) features 10ccs best known hit with Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldmans Im Not In Love, the bands second UK No 1 (it reached No 2 in America). Released in 1975, reaching No 4 in the UK and a highly respectable No 15 in the States, the album also produced the jaunty single Life Is A Minestrone. Charles Shaar Murray best summed up the album in his NME review, Aint no getting round it: 10cc make brilliant records, and according to Rolling Stone 10ccs Original Soundtrack is a fascinating record.
