New project from Baltimore-based multimedia artist Michael Collins, formerly known as Run DMT.

A hugely inventive, immersive record that takes in lovely pastoral folk and sunny, harmony-drenched 60s pop to much darker, subtly demented psychedelia in a way recalling a twisted modern take on Magical Mystery Tour era Beatles.

Collins comes from the same Baltimore scene as artists such as Animal Collective and Dan Deacon, and The Bardo Story is recommended highly for fans of Smith Westerns, Mac de Marco, Tame Impala, and Girls, and is sure to be one of the US undergrounds finest releases of 2013.
