I am very excited this year to be putting out a recording with Decca Records. The history of the Decca label is such that Im very much looking forward to working with the team to support this and future releases and to be a part of such a wide, varying and interesting group of artists is a great honour. Sun on You is an album I composed for Piano and Strings. I wanted to create a record that had a lot of space and what I mean by space is, something that maybe slowed the world down a little and gave a moment to breathe. It was great to collaborate again with the Scottish Ensemble, they are such brilliant players. Some of the tracks are filmic intentionally and other tracks are more classical in nature. Craig Armstrong is a Golden Globe, BAFTA, Ivor Novello and Grammy-winning composer whose iconic movie scores include Moulin Rouge!, Romeo + Juliet, Love Actually, The Great Gatsby and many more. He has also collaborated with a wide range of musicians on tracks and remixes among them are Madonna, U2, Massive Attack, Pet Shop Boys, Texas, Yoko Ono, Mogwai and Luciano Pavarotti.
