Live! was the first live album that Status Quo released commercially. This album is a recording of the first concert in a weekend run at Glasgow’s Apollo Theatre between 27 and 29 October 1976, recorded using the Rolling Stones Mobile 2LP coloured vinyl RSD exclusive is the first ever issue of night one. The audio has been mixed and mastered from newly discovered multi track recordings (One was in a box marked Peters and Lee!) by Andy Gamble at AVP Productions from the original ¼ master tapes and approved by Francis Rossi. It shows Status Quo at their loudest, nosiest, and at their peak, with all the original lineup in tow.
