Description
Recording artist, TV presenter and national treasure Jools Holland is all these things and more. 2012s Golden Age Of Song was a massive success, with nearly 200K UK sales cementing Jools position as an artist of the highest calibre.
Sirens Of Song is the follow up to The Golden Age Of Song with one major difference, this album is GIRLS ONLY. It features a whos who of artists, both contemporary and classic, with Joss Stone, Laura Mvula, Imelda May, Rumer, Kylie and Emeli Sande to name just a few.
The first single is the amazing Kylie cover of Should I Stay Or Should I Go.
The songs are instantly recognisable and have become staples for any discerning music lover from the last 50 years. Tracks include Percy Sledges Lost Mind covered by Rumer, Stevie Wonders I Wish covered by Mel C and the Clashs Should I Stay Or Should I Go covered by Kylie!!! In addition to these covers, there are some new songs written by Jools in his own inimitable style.
Jools will be heavily touring in support of the album, with many of the special guests appearing with him on stage.
