Description
The Secret Life of Pets is a 2016 American 3D computer-animated buddy adventure comedy film. It is directed by Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney (Despicable Me 1&2) and written by Brian Lynch, Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. The film stars American comedians Louis C.K. (terrier Max) and Kevin Hart (white rabbit Snowball) as voice actors. The film tells the story about Maxs quiet life in his Manhattan apartment, which is disrupted when his owner Katie adopts a stray dog Duke. What follows is a hilarious rollercoaster of events in the sewers of Manhattan, a love interest and friendship.
The Secret Life of Pets premiered at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on June 16, 2016. Upon release, it received positive critical reviews and became the highest grossing non-Disney original animated film of all time.
