Originally released in 2002, Songs for the Deaf is the third album from Queens of the Stone Age. Built around Josh Homme and Nick Oliveri, with key contributions from Dave Grohl and Mark Lanegan, it marked a shift toward a broader, more structured sound without losing the band’s intensity.
The album moves between driving, stripped-back riffs and more layered, expansive arrangements, maintaining a consistent sense of momentum throughout. No One Knows, Go with the Flow and First It Giveth remain among the band’s most recognised tracks.
