Description
Released in 1971, this was The Kinks first release on RCA and may well be their best record. The sound here is more folk and country based than any other Kinks release and theres even a brass band backing on two tracks. By the way, the title refers to Muswell Hill, a community in England that Ray Davies and his family moved to after their neighborhood in North London was gentrified.
