Description

After the cocaine fueled breakdown of his classic Station To Station album, Bowie escaped LA and moved back to Europe to begin his classic Berlin Trilogy with Tony Visconti and Brian Eno. Low, the first of the trilogy, was actually recorded in France and features some of Bowies most important music. Mixing effortlessly cold, European pop with the funkiest rhythm section in rock, plus a second side consisting of tracks based on Brian Enos Ambient music, Low still sounds cutting edge and remains an important masterpiece of creativity.

Following on from the success of the David Bowie A New Career In A New Town boxed sets, Warner Music will be breaking out the four studio albums plus Stage 2017 with remastered audio on CD, LP and digital formats on 23rd February 2018.

A glorious summation of Bowies most creative period The Times
Breathtakingly audacious The Sunday Times
The Greatest achievement in a career peak packed decade Classic Rock
Captured the imagination of a generation Uncut

The four studio albums Low, Heroes, Lodger and Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) have not been available as standalone vinyl LPs for over 25 years and this will be the first time on vinyl for Stage (2017), which has 5 additional tracks to the original 1978 double LP release including The Jean Genie and Suffragette City.
