The album is an infectious slice of psychedelic art-pop underpinned by industrial beats, which speaks to moving beyond perceptions of identity, status and race. Of the album, Kish says, ‘This whole upcoming project is about power or choice and escaping notions and identities that are imposed on you and that you can’t claim. For me, it was ultimately liberating to admit that I didn’t know how to wear those identities or if I even wanted to. To strip myself completely’.
