It was written in Nashville, recorded in Nashville. It was recorded mostly as a power quartet – two drums bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun. The album sounds energetic and what rock music needs to be – less precise and thought out. Of course the blues roots are there, but this record will need to be played loud. I want people to hear my evolution as a blues-rock musician” says Bonamassa, “somebody who isn’t resting on accomplishments and who is always pushing forward and thinking about how music can evolve and stay relevant.”
