The tenor greats classic 1964 album. His third Blue Note LP. Recorded at the Van Gelder Studio on 10th April 1964. Featuring an all-star band of Kenny Dorham (trumpet), McCoy Tyner (piano), Richard Davis (bass) and Elvin Jones (drums). The album showcases three superb Henderson originals (the title track, Punjab, Serenity) and two by Dorham (Short Story, Browns Town). Produced by Alfred Lion. Includes session photography by Francis Wolff.
