Having crossed over to daytime BBC Radio 1 with Future Perfect, Loadstar are no longer the drum & bass worlds best kept secret. Setting the precedent for their second LP, title-track I Need the Night and singles Diamonds ft. Takura, Give Yourself, and Run Down (Control) have already received BBC Radio 1 airplay from tastemakers such as Annie Nightingale, Danny Howard, Friction, BBC 1Xtras DJ Target and Beats 1 presenter Julie Adenuga. Their vocal-lead track Lifeless ft. Stephanie McCourt was also premiered on Annie Macs BBC Radio 1 primetime show, solidifying their position as dance music heavyweights. Since the release of Nick and Gavins debut album, Future Perfect, British drum & bass stars, Loadstar have solidified their reputation as one of Europes biggest drum & bass acts. Already a major draw as DJs, with many a classic performance at Fabric and beyond, Loadstars debuts at Glastonbury, Pukklepop, Creamfields, Las Vegas EDC and SW4, amongst others, saw them become a quickly acclaimed live outfit. Loadstar have continued to break new ground on the festival circuit while focusing on recording new album material and providing remixes for the likes of Rudimental, Noisia, Ed Sheeran, Chase & Status and Wolfgang Gartner.
