Description
Heroes is the second part of the Berlin trilogy and this one was actually recorded in Berlin at Hansa Studios. Released the same year as Low, 1977, Heroes follows the same groundbreaking template of exciting, futuristic funk pop on the first side followed by sparse, soundscapes based on Brian Enos Ambient music. Heroes is seen as the lighter side of Low and remains an epic vision of an artist at the peak of his powers.
Following on from the success of the David Bowie A New Career In A New Town boxed sets, Warner Music will be breaking out the four studio albums plus Stage 2017 with remastered audio on CD, LP and digital formats on 23rd February 2018.

The four studio albums Low, Heroes, Lodger and Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) have not been available as standalone vinyl LPs for over 25 years and this will be the first time on vinyl for Stage (2017), which has 5 additional tracks to the original 1978 double LP release including The Jean Genie and Suffragette City.
