Description
This German duos 70s albums pioneered the use of pure electronic music in an ostensibly rock context. Though Clusters proto-ambient early work utilised industrial-oriented sounds, it was far more atmospheric than the industrial music they helped inspire. Clusters later work, including a collaboration with Brian Eno, leaned more toward melody and rhythm than their classic free-form recordings.
