The return of the UK’s current premiere and notable doom metal band, GODTHRYMM follow-up their acclaimed Distortions album with Projections, the band’s heaviest, most aggressive and diverse album to date culminating in the band’s best album is comprised of classic UK doom metal royalty with frontman/guitarist Hamish Glencross (ex-My Dying Bride/Vallenfyre/Solstice) and drummer Shaun Taylor-Steels (ex-My Dying Bride/Anathema) amongst its ranks and carrying the torch forged by the classic UK doom metal once again features guest vocals from now ex-My Dying Bride vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe on the track “Endure My Skin” where the legendary vocalist takes more center stage on the track. The album also features guest vocals from original English Dogs vocalist Adie Biley and Xentrix vocalist Jay Walsh on the opening track “Trenches Deep”.For fans of traditional UK doom metal, what came before (My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, and Anathema) and for fans of modern-day traditional doom metal/doom rock likewise (Pallbearer, Warning, Messa etc).
