Description
After the huge success of their debut album, Foreigner were wise enough not to change much of their style for their second album in 1978. Concise guitar rock with Lou Gramm as the singer and gigantic riffs by Mick Jones, together with hit singles such as ‘Hot Blooded’ and ‘Double Vision’ at the beginning of each side of the LP, were enough for third place in the US charts and stadium-filling attendance figures. No wonder with seven million LPs sold.
Overall, Foreigner’s second album was even more successful than the first and a perfect example of how a fast follow-up album doesn’t have to be worse than the first.
