Flock of Dimes returns with The Life You Save, the third solo album from multi-instrumentalist and producer Jenn Wasner. Known for her work as one half of Wye Oak and collaborations with Bon Iver, Sylvan Esso, and Dirty Projectors, Wasner delivers her most personal work yet – an unflinching exploration of addiction, co-dependency, and inherited trauma across twelve stark and emotionally resonant tracks. Produced by Wasner, with additional production by Nick Sanborn (Sylvan Esso), the album features contributions from Matt McCaughan (Bon Iver), Meg Duffy (Hand Habits), and Alan Good Parker among others. Following the critically acclaimed Head of Roses, this record pushes even deeper, balancing lyrical vulnerability with off-kilter textures and subtle experimentation, as well as capturing the tension between grief, healing, memory and release. Its a document of reckoningvisceral and vulnerable, but ultimately marked by a quiet resilience.
