The Bees present their just-completed fourth album Every Steps A Yes, due for release on 11 October on Fiction. The first single from Every Steps A Yes will be I Really Need Love, out 4 October, a stunning, uplifting song built on the push and pull between two really simple chords. It is the result, says Aaron Fletcher, of an attempt to write a universal song, something everyone could grab hold of, and even by that bar-raising measure, it can be considered an unqualified success. The Bees play their first London headline show in over three years, at Bush Hall on Wednesday 15 September. Following the album release, the band will join Paul Weller as special guests on his UK tour in November and December.
