The 2004 SACD release of this recording of Dvo?áks beloved Ninth Symphony originally marked both the inauguration of Mariss Jansons as chief conductor of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the debut of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestras independent label RCO Live. The recording has received rave reviews upon release and has since become one of the classic recordings of Dvo?áks New World symphony. It is now issued on vinyl for the first time.
