William Anthony Maragh aka Super Cat came roaring out of Jamaica in the 1980s, blazing a new trail through the dancehall reggae scene. One of the first Jamaican deejays to break through on the U.S. market, Maragh helped pioneer the fusion of dancehall with hip hop and R&B, now known as reggae fusion. He etched his name in the history books with the 1992 dancehall classic Don Dada featuring hip-hop heavyweights like Heavy D and boasting the trio of hits Don Dada, Dolly My Baby and Ghetto Red Hot.
