One of the worlds most commercially successful and acclaimed artist/bands in the history of popular music, Steve Miller was a mainstay of the San Francisco music scene that upended American culture in the late 60s and by the early 70s had crafted a brand of pure pop that was polished, exciting and irresistible. With harmonica player Norton Buffalo now a regular member, the Steve Miller Band kicked off the 1980s with Circle of Love (1981) and Abracadabra (1982) in quick succession, both exhibiting impeccable rock pop songwriting. The gold-certified Circle of Love served as Miller and Co.s first album of all new material in five years and is anchored by the hit single Heart Like a Wheel.
