Description
Following their landmark third album 15, Black Butterfly (2006) saw Buckcherry seize the momentum that theyd built up, further sculpting their sound into the larger-than-life hard rock that theyve become renowned for. Black Butterfly was co-produced by Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe) and Buckcherry’s own Keith Nelson, and further enhanced their evolution into a band destined for the biggest of stages. Furthermore, it spawned some of the bands most beloved singles, Dont Go Away and Rescue Me, as well as a riotous cover of Deep Purple’s Highway reissue sees the much sought after bonus track Too Drunk… released on vinyl for the first time. Upon its release, Black Butterfly pushed Buckcherry to astounding commercial highs. It cracked the Top 10 on both the US and Canadian album charts and was later certified Gold by Music Canada. Now, as it is pressed on vinyl for the first time outside of their native US, Black Butterfly will have yet another chance to spread its wings. The reissue follows Buckcherrys new album Roar Like Thunder, released in June 2025. The band are touring extensively across the US this summer, following a tour in Canada with Steel Panther.
