Description
Creatively inspired by the days when Emo wasnt a dirty word, and the rose-tinted-specs-spirit of late, great John Hughes celluloids such as The Breakfast Club, Brighton-via-Minneapolis pop-rockers As It Is have spent the past few years molding, melding and meddling with their craft, steadily building a reputation as one of the UKs brightest new names. And now they follow-up their auspicious 2015 debut Never Happy, Ever After with the new Fearless Records release Okay. Produced by Mike Green (Pierce The Veil, All Time Low), the milestone 11-track effort is easily their most fully realized recording to date. Vocalist Patty Walters proclaims, These are by far the most personal and honest songs weve ever written. We made a conscious effort to truly push ourselves musically and lyrically, to create something that didnt feel entirely safe or calculated. We wrote songs about our families, our personal lives, and our struggles more vulnerably than ever before, hoping to encapsulate sincere moments in our lives.
