Although his name will forever be associated with the celebrated Modern Jazz Quartet, vibraphonist Milt Jacksons discography includes multiple sessions as a leader, many of which are now regarded as jazz classics.
One such album is : Plenty, Plenty Soul (1957), which was given a five star rating in Down Beat magazine in 1957. Bags entered a recording studio in New York on January 5 & 7, 1957, armed with many of the finest sidemen in the business, a collection of original compositions and the arrangements of the one and only Quincy Jones.
This limited LP edition is a special audiophile pressing on 180 gram virgin vinyl, with thick cardboard sleeve.
