Originally released in 1976, War Ina Babylon was recorded with the legendary Upsetters and produced by Lee Scratch Perry at the Black Ark studio. This album is a part of what is referred to as Lee Scratch Perry-produced Black Ark holy trinity (along with The Heptones Party Time & Junior Murvins Police & Thieves).

Includes the classics One Step Forward, Chase The Devil (as sampled by the Prodigy for Out of Space), and the title track itself War Ina Babylon.

This re-issue faithfully replicates the original Island Records UK release and is pressed on 180g vinyl.

Widely regarded as Romeos finest work, the album is a landmark of roots reggae, combining political commentary, Rastafarian themes and Perrys distinctive dub production style.
