The organists classic 1970 album. His third record for Blue Note and one of the key soul-jazz workouts of the era. Recorded at the Van Gelder Studio on 12th December 1969. Produced by Blue Note co-founder Francis Wolff. Featuring a red-hot backing band of tenor saxophonist John Manning, guitarist Melvin Sparks and drummer Tommy Derrick. Highlights of the album include Wilsons dynamic originals Bus Ride, Orange Peel and the title track, plus great covers of Eddie Floyds Knock On Wood and Edwin Starrs Twenty-Five Miles. Wilson recorded two subsequent Blue Note albums: Set Us Free and A Groovy Situation.
