Description
Debut album from Warhaus, the artistic alter ego and solo recording project of Maarten Devoldere (one of acclaimed indie rock band Balthazars two frontmen).
The title is a direct quote from the DH Lawrence novel Lady Chatterleys Lover and is a fitting title for a collection of songs that explore the shadowy inscrutability of human encounters, revelling in all the decadence and intensity that life offers.
These dark, sophisticated songs display a range of influences from Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave, to Serge Gainsbourg and Lee Hazlewood but with Devolderes unmistakable drawl.
LP formats include a digital download code.
